Sochi English Language Centre was opened on the 29th of September 1998 supported by The British Council and Sochi Educational Department. Ambassador of the Great Britain in Russia – Sir. Andrew Wood came specially to take part in the opening ceremony. Primary Sochi ELC included 3 main Centres – Resource Centre (Library), Information Centre, Exams Centre. At the same time Our Centre was re-stoking by the Free Internet Access, New Video Collection For borrows, Contemporary Fiction Collection and Everyman’s Library.

ELC has invited Local Mass Media, Centre members, city guests, Teachers, students, parents, Sochi Educational Department for it’s anniversary.Merry games, competitions, presentations took Place in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
